17 September 2014

On 31 July last, Jean-Michel Soufflet and Alfred Neuhauser signed an agreement under which the Soufflet Group takes a 70% stake in Neuhauser Financière. Soufflet is thus increasing its holding to 78.73%.

The Neuhauser Group makes and sells more than five hundred manufactured bakery products, including unbaked bread, prebaked bread, country-style loaves, morning goods, doughnuts and cakes in particular. Its production facilities are structured around nineteen sites in France and a site in Portugal, including the biggest plant bakery in France at Folschviller in Moselle, where the company was founded. More than 50% of its output is exported to more than sixty countries.

It is also a significant player in the Fast Food sector with two chains, “Pomme de Pain” in France and “Le Crobag Petite France” in Germany.
The Soufflet Group has historically operated in the bakery goods business, with a longstanding strategy of development in the sector.

Our approach

Right from the outset, the Soufflet Group developed itself in the wheat and barley industries by broadening the scope of its activities and acquiring more in-depth expertise from collection to transformation. Controlling all aspects of the production chain, in order to serve all its stakeholders, has always been our culture.
